Capital Brass! is a brass &
percussion ensemble designed for
the 21st Century. Our book
includes a variety of pop music;
our favorite arrangements
include ones from Canadian Brass
and Gordon Goodwin, but we have
a truly eclectic mix of tunes.
We have a wide range
of performers, including:
recreational
players, music students, music
educators and professionals.
We perform in local concerts and
also a few day trips for
out-of-town contests and events.
The group
is produced by Brass-O-Mania!
which also produces these other
great, professional horn bands:
Brass-O-Mania! (all-acoustic
jazz band)

B-O-M Big Band

We currently have openings for:
Capital Brass!: One each: Set
drummer, Trumpet, Mellophone, Baritone,
back-up Tuba. (some
instruments may be provided).
CB! players also get first call
for all SNAP! and CB! Drum Corps
paid gigs.
CB! Parade
Drum Corps: Now accepting players
for brass, percussion and guard
sections.
Capital Brass!
is a concert
group which performs with 6-15
permomers.
The group performs a variety of
pop music in local concerts and
events .
There ARE some paid gigs. But we also do some
free performances, including Christmas
concerts and the Lake George
Community Band Festival.
Membership is open to players,
18 and older, with some formal
training and performance
experience. Members attend
regular Wednesday night
rehearsals, in Albany.
CB!
Parade Corps
Our CB! Drum Corps performs
in local events, throughout the
Spring and Summer.

Strange News from Another
Planet! (SNAP!)
Our
Strolling Jazz/Improv Ensemble
is now called "SNAP!". This
high-octane group performs a
book of jazz and pop tunes in parades and park
gigs throughout the region.
Brass-O-Mania!

Our all-acoustic,
jazz band also known
as :
"The World's Most Dangerous
Big Band".
Brass-O-Mania! has been a fixture at
the Saratoga Race Track for 16
years.

BOM! also performs as a
formal big band for weddings and
other formal events.
