Interstatesmen Alumni Reunion

Luncheon on Saturday, Sept 27, at the Best Western Sovereign Hotel, on Western Ave, in Albany.

11:30am-12:30pm

Deli Bar, Salads, Desserts; Coffee and Iced Tea

Cost  $14.45 per person plus tax and tip

Reservations are required

Then, we will honor The I-Men Alumni, during

the Closing Ceremonies of the MCA Championship event, that night!

Each Alumnus, and their spouse, will be our guests at the MCA Show, at the SUNY Performing Arts Center,

where we will recognize and honor the Interstatesmen.

Interstatesmen Ensemble

To cap off our evening, all interested I-Men Alumni, backed up by a small tribute ensemble, will perform a Medley of "Softy As I Leave You" and "Who's Sorry Now". The group is then welcome to play along with the CB! Alumni All-Stars on "Battle Hymn of the Republic"

Music will be available right after DCA Rochester. We will be using music stands, so memorization is not necessary. We will hold Wednesday night rehearsals, in September, for anyone interested.

 

This Fall is the 50th Anniversary of the formation of the Interstatesmen. What a unique chance to to commemorate this date, and honor the roots of Drum Corps in the Capital District!

Let's NOT let this opportunity pass. It may be a one-time chance for something like this in our area.
