Where we've
been... where we're going....
4 years, from the
conception of this idea, we can proudly point
to a series of goals met AND exceeded!

Capital Brass! has met
with much success in BHOF,
MCA, DCA and Independent
Individual & Ensemble
competitions.
-
Our Parade
Corps has performed
Tributes to the late Ron
Ghetti and for the 50th
Anniversary of the
Interstatesmen; and also won
the 2008 American Legion
State Convention Title for
Best Drum Corps!
-
Our Mardi Gras group has
developed into the highly
sought-after SNAP! strolling
jazz ensemble.
-
And Capital Brass!, in
2009, performed for
several big events,
including: the Lake George
Community Band Festival,
Saratoga Race Track & a
Military Reunion Banquet.
Plans for 2010:
Capital Brass! - our
concert ensemble will be
comprised of 10 brass and a set,
plus a few subs. The group
will also perform as a Quintet,
as called for. A variety
of concerts, parties and civic
events will be on the schedule.
Capital Brass! will also
return to the parade business in
2010 - We plan on performing
as a small unit; with 10-15
brass; plus 3-4
corps-style percussion.
SNAP! - start out with
players from CB! and add a few
more from Brass-O-Mania!, as
needed... and you have SNAP!: an
incredibly flexible and
versatile Jazz Improv group that
can fit into just about any kind
of gig.
Alumni All-Stars - the
Alumni Drum Corps is on
indefinite hiatus. We
successfully produced the group
for a few performances, in 2006,
07 and 08; earning the
American Legion State Convention
Title in 2008. If significant interest
were to be found, it's something
we could possibly do again. Those
interested in helping to make
this happen should contact us.
